> ## Documentation Index > Fetch the complete documentation index at: https://docs.gridbeds.com/llms.txt > Use this file to discover all available pages before exploring further. # ISTAT guest statistics > The ISTAT survey of arrivals and nights, the regional systems, and why for now it has to be filed outside Gridbeds. **Coming soon.** Gridbeds does **not submit** ISTAT figures to your region today. Keep filing them as you do now, from the regional portal, by your region's deadline. The ISTAT settings in **Settings → Italy** do not produce a valid filing yet. ## What the law asks Every accommodation establishment takes part in the ISTAT survey "Movimento dei clienti negli esercizi ricettivi" (IST-00139): the month's arrivals and nights, by guests' country or Italian region of residence. Answering is mandatory (art. 7 D.Lgs. 322/1989; Regulation (EU) 692/2011). The figures do not go to ISTAT directly: the **region** (or autonomous province) collects them, each with its own system and deadline, and passes them to ISTAT by the 20th of the following month. A month with no guests has to be reported too. Some examples: | Region | System | Deadline for the property | | - | - | - | | Lombardy | ROSS1000 | by the 5th of the following month (daily preferred) | | Lazio | ROSS1000 (since 21 May 2025, replacing Radar) | set by the Region | | Veneto, Emilia-Romagna, Sardinia, Marche, Calabria, Abruzzo | ROSS1000 (under regional names) | set by the Region | | Piedmont | Piemonte Dati Turismo (ROSS1000) | by the 10th of the following month | | Campania | Sinfonia Turismo | set by the Region | | Sicily | Turist\@t | within 24 hours of arrival or departure | | Apulia | SPOT | by the 10th of the following month | | Province of Bolzano | ASTAT survey | daily | The right system and deadline are the ones your region publishes: this table is a guide, not a source. ## What Gridbeds does today * In **Settings → Italy**, on the property's card, you choose the **ISTAT system** (the list also shows WebTur and Sinfonia, but only "Ross1000 (GIES)" can be chosen today) and the **ISTAT comune code** (6 digits, e.g. 058091 for Rome). The comune code is also used by the [tourist tax](/en/compliance/italy/imposta-di-soggiorno) rules. * On the 5th of each month Gridbeds works out the previous month's arrivals and nights by origin. * **Submitting does not work yet**: Ross1000 credentials cannot be verified and every filing is rejected; nothing is sent for the other systems. Rejected "Statistics (ISTAT)" rows in the **Submissions** list are not your mistake and cannot be retried ("This ISTAT filing was rejected by the region and cannot be resent automatically."). ## What to do meanwhile 1. Keep using your region's portal (or the link you already have from your previous software). 2. The **Bookings** list (**All** tab, **Check-in** and **Check-out** filters) and **Export Bookings** help you with the month's figures. 3.
