Gridbeds’s figures live in two places: the Dashboard tabs (for the property) and Analytics (for guests). There is no custom report builder; for money, see also Accounting and reports.

The dashboard

Dashboard has the tabs Today (see Front desk), Overview, Housekeeping (see Housekeeping), Quality and Channels (see Channels). They all follow the property in the switcher; Overview needs permission to view analytics, Quality permission to view guests, and Channels permission to view channels (the sync health) or analytics (the channel mix); each card on it shows only to whoever may open it.

Overview

Overview (“Key performance indicators and trends”), for a Period — This month, Last 7 days, Last 30 days or This year: On the books shows what the next 30, 60 or 90 nights already hold, with occupancy, room revenue and the last week’s pickup, each beside the same nights a year earlier as they stood on the same day then. It used to sit on Today; Today is for what to do now, so the pace question is asked here. Further down: Booking Pace, Revenue Overview (the last 6 months), Weekly Occupancy (by day of the week), Revenue by Channel (revenue, commission, net), the comparison with last year and the Revenue Forecast — for the next 7, 14 or 30 days and the rest of the month, from confirmed bookings. Whenever the switcher names more than one property, Property comparison appears too: a row for each property in view and a total for them together. The total is worked out over the whole set — occupied nights over available nights, room revenue over rooms sold — never as an average of the rows, so a small guesthouse does not weigh as much as a large hotel. The table follows the switcher and has no picker of its own; New group opens the group editor on the properties in view. At the bottom, the recent activity appears only to a member who may also view bookings: its entries name guests, bookings and payments, and the server refuses the feed to anyone else, a housekeeping manager included. Commissions are estimated with the rates in Settings → Channel commissions — see Channels.

Quality

Guest Reviews: total reviews, average rating, response rate and positive rate, the rating distribution, by platform, sentiment and Pending Responses, with Respond. The details are in Reviews and reputation.

Guest analytics

Analytics, in the group of the same name, opens on Guest Analytics (“Data-driven insights into guest behavior and value”). It is part of your subscription’s advanced analytics module and needs permission to view analytics and permission to view guests.
  • At the top: Guests Analysed, Average LTV, Total Revenue and At-Risk Guests.
  • Value Segments (VIP, Premium, Standard, Budget — by how much they spent), Frequency Segments (Loyal (5+), Repeat (2-4), First-time) and Recency Segments (Recent (< 90 days), Lapsed (90-365 days), Dormant (> 365 days)).
  • The tabs High-Value Guests, At-Risk Guests, Likely to Book and Upsell Opportunities, each with View All (the top 100).
The analytics do not recalculate on their own: click Recalculate Analytics (the calculation runs in the background; the top shows Last calculated or Never calculated).
The lists help you choose whom to contact; the messages themselves go out from Messages or through Automation.
