Approved, not yet released
  • The dashboard, the calendar and the housekeeping board update live: a booking, a room’s status, a payment or a blocked period changed by anyone — or by a channel — shows without reloading — see Front desk and Calendar.
  • The guest’s messages in the booking panel: the Messages tab shows the conversations about the booking, or all of them with the guest, and you answer from there — see Bookings.
  • Italy: the invoice states the date of the operation, the day the guest paid, instead of the day it was issued — so a stay paid at 23:50 and invoiced after midnight is declared in the right month; an invoice issued more than 12 days after the operation is issued and flagged — see FatturaPA.
  • One Add property wizard from the Properties page, the property switcher, search and sign-up: a hotel adds its rooms and price in the same steps, a property can be copied with the sections you choose or imported from Airbnb or Booking.com, and a new property is a draft with Complete setup — see First property.
  • The day close does what it says: it posts the night’s fixed charges and releases group and allotment rooms on the property’s own clock, asks you to confirm with the list of steps it will run, and sends the closed day to accounting afterwards without ever holding the close — see Day close.
  • The guest’s arrival time and transfers from the airport or station, with a daily list for the front desk — see Transfers.
  • When you change the dates and the guests in the same edit, the added nights will be quoted for the new party — see Changing dates.
  • The subscription page will stop showing a user limit (which is not applied anyway) — see Plans and prices.
  • Italy: each invoice names its customer the way SDI requires — the recipient code (codice destinatario) and PEC of a company, the codice fiscale of a private guest, asked for at the desk when the guest asks for an invoice; an invoice SDI would reject is not issued — see FatturaPA.
  • Tasks in one press: each task has a Start or Complete button, the assignee is changed in the row, and a selection is completed, reassigned or given a priority at once — see Tasks.
  • Take payment from any balance: cash, card terminal, bank transfer or online, from the booking panel, the bookings list, the Today tab and the day close — see Payments.
  • Add charge and Reverse on the booking panel’s Folio tab — see Bookings.
  • Checking out a guest who still owes asks first, on every screen and in the staff app: take the payment, or check out anyway, recorded with your name — see Bookings.
  • Free rooms on the month: for a single property, each day of the dashboard’s availability card prints its free rooms or Full, and today follows the property’s operating day — see Calendar.
  • Whoever runs the channels is told when the channel sync fails in a way the front desk feels — a booking not imported, a change not applied, bookings not arriving, a property paused — once per problem, and again when it is over — see Channels.
  • The staff app’s Home says when the channel sync has a problem the desk must know, and what to do — see Staff app.
  • Today says when the channel sync has a problem the desk must know — a red card first among the queues, with what happened and what to do — see Front desk.
Released
  • The menu follows the property chosen in the switcher, on the web, and the kinds of property you have, in the staff app; a module switched off is gone from it — see Property types.
  • “What do you run?” at sign-up, on the web and in the staff app: Gridbeds switches on the modules that fit, and the first property step offers the types of what you run and asks a guesthouse or a hotel for its number of rooms — see Create the account and First property.
  • A new property starts with the settings of its kind: a hotel’s occupied rooms are serviced every day and its room types are managed room by room, a guesthouse’s every few nights, an apartment is cleaned when the guest leaves — see Property types and Housekeeping.
  • The guide in Italian, and each country’s obligations on pages of their own — see Compliance by country: Romania, Italy.
  • A bookings list with five tabs and “To resolve”, with money as one Payment filter — see Bookings.
  • The calendar follows the property switcher — see Calendar.
  • Changing dates reprices the nights added and removed, and the staff app shows the new price before you save — see Changing dates.
  • An overdue departure holds the day close, with extension, bulk check-out and optional automatic check-out — see Day close.
  • The first property sells straight away: the welcome step asks for the price per night — see First property.
  • Apartments and villas on the housekeeping board, like a room — see Housekeeping.
  • Check-in at the desk in the staff app: the room, the guests, document photos and a deposit on one screen — see Staff app.
  • Channel mix on the dashboard, with each channel’s commission rate set in Settings → Channel commissions — see Channels.
  • The booking panel’s Guest tab says how far the occupants’ record has got — see Bookings.
  • Collect any amount: full payment, a 30% deposit or another amount, up to the balance — see Payments.
  • A payment already in progress is announced in the collect window, and a payment error shows the real reason.
  • Occupied tonight on the Today tab counts the rooms occupied tonight, and Overdue departures show separately — see Front desk.
  • The booking panel leads with what the desk does next.
  • A room type with numbered rooms no longer takes more stays than it has rooms.
  • A percentage discount takes exactly that share off what the guest pays, VAT included, and a 100% discount leaves nothing to pay.
  • Every e-Factura passes ANAF’s validator and states the VAT and total the invoice was issued with; every FatturaPA matches the schema SDI validates against — see e-Factura and FatturaPA.
  • Errors and refusals appear in the language of your screen, and an error screen has Report this problem to tell us what happened.
  • Calendar: the arrows name the period, the toolbar fits on one row, and the month’s last week shows at any height.
