Status: partial. Gridbeds stores the property’s CIN, but today it does not show it on the property’s website, send it to channels or print it on documents. Showing it where the law requires stays your job.
What the law asks
Every accommodation establishment and every unit let for tourist or short stays must have a CIN (Codice Identificativo Nazionale), assigned by the Ministry of Tourism through the accommodation database (BDSR) (art. 13-ter D.L. 145/2023). It is requested on the BDSR portal, with SPID or CIE; in regions that issue a regional code (CIR), the CIR comes first and the CIN does not replace it. The CIN must be shown outside the building and in every listing, on any channel: website, portals, OTAs. The rules apply from 2 November 2024 (with until 1 January 2025 for those who already held a regional code). What Gridbeds does
In Settings → Italy, on the property’s card, enter the code under CIN (national ID) and click Save property. If Gridbeds refuses a CIN you copied correctly from the BDSR portal (“Could not save.”), contact support: the format check is under review. Today the CIN stays there: it does not appear on the public website or the booking widget, is not sent to Booking.com, Airbnb or other channels through Channex, and is not printed on invoices or confirmations. What is left to you
- Showing the CIN (and the CIR, where the region requires it) outside the property.
- Entering the CIN in each portal’s extranet: on Booking.com, Airbnb and the others the code goes in the listing’s settings, not from Gridbeds.
- Adding it to your website’s text if Gridbeds runs it — on the contact page or the legal notes, for instance.
- Keeping the property’s details current in BDSR.
